About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Snow Plow Operator to join our winter maintenance team at Miller Paving Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for safely operating a spreader, plow wing, combo unit, and/or tow plow to perform snow removal on local roads and highways.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment in extreme weather conditions
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including fuel reports, safety reports, and hours of service
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to equipment as required
  • Familiarize yourself with route maps and sand/salt application rates
Requirements
  • DZ or AZ license with a clean driver's abstract required
  • Available to respond to call-ins within thirty minutes
  • Ability to work assigned shifts, extended hours, and in extreme weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to drive manual transmission
  • Previous experience in winter-works operations
  • Mechanical knowledge and ability to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs
