Housekeeping Team Lead

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Alberta Corporation. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cleaning staff, ensuring our sites and facilities meet the highest standards of safety and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities- Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily activities of our cleaning staff, ensuring they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our standards.
- Inspect Sites and Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of our sites and facilities to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
- Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets and cost estimates for cleaning services, ensuring we are operating within our means.
- Recommend Additional Services: Identify opportunities for additional services, such as painting, repair work, or renovations, and recommend these to management.
- Maintain Financial Records: Ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records are maintained, including payment for specialized cleaning jobs.
- Assist Cleaners: Provide support and guidance to our cleaning staff as needed, ensuring they have the resources and tools required to perform their duties effectively.
- Coordinate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments to ensure our cleaning services are integrated with other operational activities.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a supervisory or management role.
- Availability: Availability for shift or on-call work.
- Language: Fluency in English.
