About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Granite Polisher to join our team at Gobind Granite Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate blade or wire saws to cut blocks of stone to specified dimensions.
  • Use sandblasting equipment to cut inscriptions or decorative designs in monumental stone.
  • Operate a stone-dressing lathe to sharpen and dress grindstones that grind logs into pulp.
  • Drill holes in blocks or slabs of stone according to specifications.
  • Finish stone products with spray paint and by mounting plaques or installing concrete bases.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience is an asset.
Work Environment

Permanent position, 35 hours per week, with English as the primary work language.
