About the Role

Gobind Granite Inc is seeking a skilled Hand Granite Polisher to join our team. As a Hand Granite Polisher, you will be responsible for operating various machines and tools to cut, polish, and finish granite surfaces to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Blade or Wire Saws: Cut blocks of granite to specified dimensions with precision and accuracy.
  • Operate Sandblasting Equipment: Cut inscriptions or decorative designs in monumental stone with attention to detail.
  • Operate Stone-Dressing Lathe: Sharpen and dress grindstones that grind logs into pulp with efficiency.
  • Operate Drilling Machines: Drill holes in blocks or slabs of stone according to specifications with precision.
  • Finish Stone Products: Finish stone products with spray paint and by mounting plaques or installing concrete bases with attention to detail.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not mandatory.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
