The Role

The Prep Cook is a key member of our culinary team, responsible for preparing high-quality food to order for guests and outlets throughout the Rogers Centre. This role requires attention to detail, a passion for food preparation, and excellent communication skills.

Essential Functions

  • Prepare and cook food to order, adhering to established guidelines and quality standards.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment, maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and meet customer expectations.
  • Assist with food preparation, presentation, and plating to ensure visual appeal and quality.
  • Maintain accurate records of food preparation, inventory, and waste management.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.
  • Adhere to Legends' health, safety, and sanitation policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Food Handler's Certification.
  • Minimum of 1 year cooking experience.
  • Basic culinary and knife skills are required.
  • Previous experience in all areas of the kitchen.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Working Conditions
