Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Truck Technician to join our team at MasterTech. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of heavy equipment, including diesel trucks, buses, and other vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other systems
  • Conduct electrical troubleshooting and schematic reading to identify and resolve issues
  • Work with a team of experienced technicians to ensure timely and efficient completion of repairs
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy equipment technician
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, and other systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
