About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Truck and Coach Technician to join our team at Duckworth Truck Center Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Conduct thorough inspections and tests of mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions.
  • Repair and Replace Parts: Repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems, including automotive systems and truck-trailer systems.
  • Estimate and Perform Maintenance: Estimate parts and labor costs to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, and perform scheduled maintenance services.
  • Provide Customer Service: Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Coach and Instruct: Coach and instruct apprentices in the maintenance and repair of commercial transport trucks.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification.
