About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Sharleez Bridal. As a key member of our sales and customer service team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Effectively manage and coordinate the work of sales staff to ensure optimal sales performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Authorize Return of Merchandise: Process returns and exchanges in a fair and efficient manner, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to meet business needs, ensuring adequate staffing levels and minimizing overtime.
  • Sell Merchandise: Provide exceptional sales support to customers, promoting products and services to meet sales targets.
  • Prepare Reports on Sales Volumes, Merchandising, and Personnel Matters: Analyze sales data and provide insights to inform business decisions, ensuring optimal inventory management and personnel utilization.
  • Resolve Issues: Effectively manage and resolve customer complaints, supply chain issues, and other operational challenges.
  • Organize and Maintain Inventory: Ensure accurate and efficient inventory management, minimizing stock discrepancies and optimizing stock levels.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities of Workers: Lead and motivate sales staff to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Manage Cash: Process cash transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Art or Fashion Design Experience: A background in art or fashion design is an asset, particularly in women's clothing.
  • Area of Specialization: Clothing is a key area of specialization for this role.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and maintain high levels of accuracy.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, reliable, team player, and judgment.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment, with a strong focus on sales and customer service.
