Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients, ensuring high-quality outcomes and patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, promoting patient autonomy and dignity.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and patient advocacy.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research activities to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Contribute to the orientation and education of nursing staff and students, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Completion of Critical Care Level 2 course and one year's Cardiac Surgery experience or two years' recent experience in critical care in an acute care facility and one year recent Cardiac Surgery experience.
- Current Basic Rescuer Certificate.
