Position Overview
The Financial Credit Specialist role at Citizens Business Bank focuses on delivering essential credit evaluation support throughout the organization. This includes analyzing financial documents, assessing tax implications, monitoring compliance, managing tickler systems, conducting annual reviews of term loans, and executing various fundamental credit tasks. The primary goals are to provide dependable analytical services, improve quality, and ensure timely delivery of results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adherence to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations
- Advocacy of 'The Citizens Experience' for clients
- Evaluating credit documentation for thoroughness
- Analyzing financial statements and tax documents
- Creating personal cash flow projections using spreadsheet applications
- Engaging in discussions regarding credit applications with team members
- Preparing precise preliminary financial assessments
- Offering administrative assistance as needed
- Performing additional tasks as required
Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, a solid understanding of accounting principles, strong verbal, numerical, and analytical skills, as well as proficiency in Excel, MS Word, and Moody's Financial Analysis tools.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires the ability to sit for extended periods, occasional standing and walking, and the capability to lift items weighing up to 10 pounds, along with specific visual acuity.
Work Environment:
The workplace is typically moderate in noise level.
Compensation Range: $26.52 to $36.47 per hour
This is a full-time role, requiring 40 hours of work each week.
