Job Title: Credit Officer

We are seeking a skilled Credit Officer to join our team at H & B Financial Group Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Credit Officer will be responsible for evaluating loan applications, approving or rejecting them, and ensuring that all credit and loan documentation is complete and accurate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate loan applications and make informed decisions on approval or rejection
  • Complete and review credit and loan documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Forward irreconcilable accounts to collectors for action
  • Interview loan applicants to assess their financial status and creditworthiness
  • Prepare statements on delinquent accounts and promote the sale of credit and loan services
  • Research and evaluate loan applicants' financial status, references, credit, and ability to repay loans
  • Review and update credit and loan files to ensure they are accurate and up-to-date
  • Submit credit and loan applications to management for review and approval
  • Network to develop business relationships and promote the sale of loan, investment, and other banking services
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 35 hours of work per week
