LVI Associates is seeking a highly experienced Forensic Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our Investigations and Disputes Support team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of complex cases and develop your skills as an Expert Witness.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and execute engagements for various clients, including conducting thorough investigations and providing expert testimony.
- Supervise, train, and develop engagement staff on quantification of losses and client requirements, as well as assessing staff performance.
- Serve as a technical resource and subject matter expert to clients and staff, providing guidance on accounting and financial matters.
- Prepare and review business interruption reports, exhibits, letters, and other client-related documents.
- Participate in client management interviews and work closely with the practice leader on key business development initiatives.
- Minimum 5 years of post-CPA experience in Investigations, Disputes, and Business Interruption claims.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; an advanced degree in a related field is a plus.
- CPA license and excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in the use of technology and accounting programs.
