Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Gameplay Programmer to join our team at zeroG - AI in Aviation. As an AI Gameplay Programmer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing AI gameplay features for our aviation-related projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • AI Gameplay Feature Development
    • Design and implement AI gameplay features that enhance the player experience in our aviation-related projects.
    • Collaborate with the game design team to ensure that AI gameplay features align with the project's overall vision and goals.
  • Code Maintenance and Optimization
    • Ensure that AI gameplay code is well-organized, efficient, and easy to maintain.
    • Optimize AI gameplay code to improve performance and reduce bugs.
  • Support for Content Creators
    • Provide support to content creators by ensuring that tools and systems are stable and efficient.
    • Help content creators incorporate their work into our games as needed.
  • Professional Development
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest AI gameplay programming practices and technologies.
    • Continuously improve your programming knowledge to help drive innovation in our projects.

Requirements

  • Education
    • Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (or equivalent training).
  • Experience
    • Studio experience working as a gameplay programmer, with at least one successfully delivered game.
  • Skills
    • Mastery of C++.
    • Good knowledge of mathematics.
    • Varied experience in programming for multiple video game domains (gameplay, AI, engine, etc.) is an asset.
