TOTEM recruteur de talent is representing a distinguished legal practice with a national and international presence. They are currently seeking a Legal Research Specialist with expertise in legal matters to enhance their Ottawa office. This role will also involve collaboration with the Toronto office on significant initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough research and compile findings for the use of attorneys, clients, and staff;
- Keep attorneys informed about recent legal developments and changes;
- Develop and conduct training sessions for attorneys, law students, and staff on research techniques, tools, and available resources;
- Assist the national library team with requested research tasks;
- Contribute to the assessment and upkeep of information services aligned with the firm's strategic objectives;
- Oversee the local library collection management.
Qualifications:
- Possess a master's degree in library science or a related field;
- Demonstrate a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a comparable setting, with a focus on legal knowledge;
- Exhibit strong presentation and instructional capabilities;
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with changing priorities;
- Possess excellent interpersonal communication skills.
