Key Responsibilities:
  • Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities to promote physical and mental well-being
  • Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, setting up, and assembling medical equipment to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
  • Perform various tasks related to patient care and comfort, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Supply and empty bed pans, and maintain patients' rooms to ensure a clean and comfortable environment
  • Take patients' blood pressure, temperature, and pulse to monitor their health and well-being
  • Serve meal trays and feed patients, promoting nutrition and hydration
  • Weigh, lift, turn, and position patients with care and attention to detail
  • Supervise patients' exercise routines to promote physical activity and mobility
  • Maintain inventory of supplies to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations, prioritizing patient safety and well-being
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate
  • Criminal record check
  • Own transportation
Work Environment:

The Nursing Attendant will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong communication and interpersonal skills. The role involves working under pressure, with repetitive tasks, and physically demanding activities. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing patient care and comfort.
