Event Marketing Specialist

About the Role
The Experiential Marketing Intern will play a key role in facilitating and executing event and marketing-related activations to drive brand awareness and generate interest. As a member of the Experiential Marketing team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, plan, and deliver events that meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and execute event strategies that align with business goals.
- Manage event budgets, vendor relationships, and logistics to ensure successful event execution.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external agencies, vendors, and brand partners to support event planning and execution.
- Represent the brand at events, interacting with customers, brand ambassadors, and product specialists to ensure a positive brand experience.
- Support the Experiential Marketing team with day-to-day tasks, including planning, CRM communication, and social media planning.
- Assist with budget tracking, financial reporting, and program management to ensure effective event execution.
- Develop and maintain event summary reports, analytics, and presentation slides to communicate program effectiveness.
- Prepare materials and presentations for meetings as required.
- Manage marketing fleet needs, including transportation, fueling, detailing, and invoice payment.
Requirements
- University or College degree in Marketing or a related field, preferably within the last 12 months.
- Valid full-class driver's license, access to a vehicle, and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Prior event marketing experience, ideally one year minimum.
- Bilingual English/French is an asset.
- Demonstrated innovative and creative thinking, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a passion for customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrated team player with strong interpersonal and negotiating skills, intermediate level of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel within Canada and the United States.
