We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Horizon Health Network. As a Registered Nurse Class A, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients in a variety of settings, including the Mobile Crisis Unit. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring that patients receive the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Document patient information and maintain accurate records
- Participate in educational and therapeutic groups to support patient recovery
- Registered with the Nurses Association of New Brunswick
- High regard for confidentiality and advocacy for patients
- Minimum of 1950 hours of recent and direct A/MH experience within the last 2 years
- Post Secondary Certificate in Mental Health Nursing or CNA certification would be an asset
- Current BLS and willingness to obtain Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, Concurrent Disorder Modules, Addictions 101
- Willingness to maintain re-certifications as required
