About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of a team of 3-4 retail sales workers, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Store Operations: Establish and maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts and minimizing stockouts or overstocking.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Training and Development: Train and develop sales staff, providing coaching and feedback to enhance their skills and performance.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
  • Work Setting: Retail business.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player.
