Job Title: Retail Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Alberta Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Retail Sales Associate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and provide assistance with purchases.
  • Cash Handling: Operate a cash register, process transactions, and handle customer payments.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves and sweeping floors.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Work Setting: Confectionery/corner store, retail business.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Electronic cash register, Interac machine, price scanner, computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering system.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, flexibility, team player, reliability.
Working Conditions:

The Retail Sales Associate will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The position requires attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work under pressure.
