Shift: Continental Nights

Compensation: $19.25/hr

Job Duties:

In this role, you will undertake assigned shifts, delivering both proactive and reactive security patrols while responding to incidents.

Your responsibilities will include documenting reports and investigating routine occurrences, as well as responding swiftly and effectively to emergencies.

Physical fitness is essential, as you will be required to stand and walk for extended durations.


Core Duties Include:

  • Delivering outstanding service to enhance the customer experience
  • Ensuring adherence to property standards, rules, and regulations
  • Proactively assisting everyone in having a positive experience at the property
  • Conducting visible patrols of designated areas on foot and engaging positively with tenants, guests, and employees
  • Maintaining awareness of activities and events at the property to assist visitors
  • Managing vehicle traffic on the property
  • Performing physical activities such as walking, standing, and basic motor skills; along with regular record-keeping
  • Enforcing property standards and regulations with fairness
  • Utilizing tact and diplomacy in various situations
  • Responding to medical emergencies and providing first aid, CPR, or AED support until professional help arrives
  • Implementing access control procedures
  • Understanding emergency and standard operating procedures
  • Addressing trespassers in a safe and fair manner
  • Assisting with Fire & Life Safety inspections
  • Maintaining detailed logs and preparing incident reports
  • Investigating incidents and occurrences
  • Monitoring CCTV surveillance systems
  • De-escalating emergency situations
  • Supporting emergency and law enforcement personnel
  • Contributing to daily operations as required
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

  • Willingness to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods (8-12 hours)
  • Demonstrated professionalism
  • Minimum of 1 year of prior security experience
  • Experience in physical or mall security is advantageous
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, indoors and outdoors
  • Ability to manage stress and make sound decisions under pressure
  • Comfortable working in busy, populated areas
  • Clean driver abstract
  • High attention to detail and observational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
