Join Our Team as a Part-time Bartender at Pickering Casino Resort

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team at Pickering Casino Resort. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Ensure safe and responsible service of all beverage products, including setting drink rates and monitoring guests.
  • Follow cash handling procedures accurately and settle payments with patrons.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including glassware and equipment.
  • Ensure proper inventory management and ordering of supplies.
  • Participate in regular cleaning and sanitation of the bar area.
  • Comply with all alcohol-related house policies and Smart Serve guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Secondary school diploma or equivalent working experience and education.
  • Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in a high-volume establishment.
  • Valid Smart Serve Certificate required.
  • Previous cash handling and system experience required.
  • Strong wine and beverage knowledge.
  • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, customer service, and communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to obtain registration as a Category 2 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
