Health and Safety Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team at Eclipse Automation. As a key member of our health and safety team, you will be responsible for implementing and executing health and safety programs and initiatives across our facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and maintenance of our health and safety programs and communications.
- Provide health and safety expertise and support to employees, supervisors, and projects.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify key risks and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate JHSC program requirements, including monthly inspections, quarterly meetings, and training for committee members.
- Maintain current knowledge of local health and safety legislation and other applicable standards.
Requirements
- An educational background in Occupational Health and Safety or a related discipline.
- At least 1 year of experience in a health and safety role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with conducting hazard assessments and incident investigations.
- Intermediate knowledge of applicable health and safety regulations and related legislation.
