We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team at Inout Design & Construction. As a Cabinetmaker, you will be responsible for designing and building custom cabinets and furniture for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Build Custom Cabinets: Create specifications for custom-made cabinets that maximize storage and meet our clients' needs.
- Woodworking Expertise: Shape surfaces or edges of wood workpieces using hand tools, such as planes, chisels, or wood files.
- Plan and Interpret Blueprints: Study plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to be made and read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
- Quality Control: Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete units and reinforce joints.
- Finishing Touches: Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products.
- Maintain a Safe Work Environment: Maintain a clean and safe work environment and operate heavy equipment.
- Estimate and Manage Materials: Estimate costs and materials and repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in cabinetmaking or a related field.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
- Personal Qualities: Accurate, organized, and a team player.
