We are seeking a skilled Culinary Artist to join our team at Cosmos Pizza. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning: Plan menus and estimate food requirements to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
- Staff Training: Train kitchen staff and helpers in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality.
- Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards.
- Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure smooth kitchen operations and achieve business objectives.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with heavy loads and physically demanding tasks.
- Personal Qualities: Attention to detail, client focus, dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, and time management skills.
- Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
- Language: English.
- Transportation: Public transportation is available.
