About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Attendant to join our team at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg. As a member of the Clinical Support team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient food services. Your responsibilities will include preparing, assembling, and distributing patient meal trays while adhering to safe food handling practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately assemble meal trays with patient food and beverages
  • Prepare food items according to hospital standards
  • Stock supplies and maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Participate in Quality Assurance Programs to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • Previous experience in food service is an asset
  • Minimum Grade 10 education, Manitoba Standards required
  • Valid Food Handlers Certificate
  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
