About the Role

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at ABB Schweiz AG. As a key member of our Finance Service division, you will play a vital role in delivering forward-looking insights that drive sustainable long-term results.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Reporting and Analysis: Assist in the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries, ad hoc account reconciliations, and performing monthly tasks. Execute accounting analyses and reports, and participate in solving IG mismatches and ensuring timely and accurate reporting packages and disclosures.
  2. Internal Control and External Audit: Participate in responding to external audit requests relating to year-end and quarter-end. Perform monthly controls, ensure compliance with financial guidelines and company policies, and participate in internal control testing and preparing relevant documentation.
  3. Projects and Process Improvements: Contribute to projects and process improvements initiatives related to systems or structure changes.
  4. Optimization and Efficiency: Assist in developing and implementing processes and procedures to continuously optimize and gain efficiency.
  5. Investigation and Reconciliation: Conduct investigations and reconciliations of accounts as necessary.
Requirements
  • Having completed or pending CPA is an asset.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Accounting.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role.
  • Advanced experience of Excel and SAP.
  • Proven ability to effectively work under pressure and within tight deadlines and high degree of flexibility.
  • Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to multitask.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Perfectly Bilingual – French & English. French is required. English is also required to communicate with customers outside Quebec on a regular basis.
