Job Title: Regional Director of Finance

Urgo Hôtels Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Director of Finance to join our executive leadership team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving the company's financial performance and ensuring the success of our Canadian hotel portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Oversee the management of accounting information systems, including the rollout of new systems and the optimization of existing ones.
  • Mentor and coach finance teams to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
  • Develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and financial models.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in finance leadership roles, preferably in the hospitality industry or a multi-divisional company.
  • Degree in finance or accounting, with a CPA designation a strong asset.
  • Proven experience in managing accounting systems, budgeting processes, internal controls, business and tax planning, and cash management.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-potential finance teams.
