About Our Client:
Our client is a leading consulting engineering firm specializing in retrofit projects for high-rise residential, institutional, and commercial building sectors. They are a rapidly growing organization seeking a talented engineer to join their technical/project leadership team.
About the Role:
As an Electrical Project Engineer – Technical Lead, you will oversee the engineering and design of Power Distribution, Lighting, Fire Protection, and Low-Voltage systems for building construction projects. You will work closely with clients, colleagues, and sub-consultants to ensure the completion of technically sound projects. Your responsibilities will include assisting with design and construction issues, meeting with Architects, Clients, and other consulting disciplines to ensure successful project completion, and overseeing junior and intermediate engineers/designers.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess a university degree or college diploma in Electrical Engineering. A Professional Engineer (P.Eng), Engineer-In-Training (E.IT), Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T), or LEED designation would be considered an asset. They will have 5-10+ years of experience in engineering and design relevant to Power Distribution, Lighting, Fire Alarm, and Low-Voltage systems for high-rise, institutional, and commercial building construction projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
