Job Title: Food Service Helper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Food Service Helper to join our team at New Punjabi Flavours. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our dining area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation and Service: Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits. Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items according to our menu standards.
  • Dishroom and Cleaning: Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, and flatware. Load buspans and trays, and operate dishwashers to wash dishes and other items.
  • Customer Service: Take customers' orders, handle and store cleaning products, and remove kitchen garbage and trash.
  • General Duties: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors. Assist with packaging take-out food and portioning and wrapping foods.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Work Setting: Urban area.
  • Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, and standing for extended periods.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
