About the Role

As a Senior Associate within Scotia Wealth Management, you will play a key role in the development and management of a large Wealth Management group. You will work closely with the lead Portfolio Manager and other team members to provide exceptional client service and contribute to business development and sales-related activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present reports and recommendations to clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their investment objectives and risk tolerance.
  • Develop and distribute client communication and marketing pieces, showcasing your expertise in investments and services.
  • Streamline administrative processes and ensure efficient completion of tasks, maintaining accurate records for tracking purposes.
  • Build strong relationships across the team and with various business lines within Scotiabank, identifying new business opportunities to gather additional assets and/or increase revenue.
  • Utilize your in-depth knowledge of investments and services to identify new opportunities within the existing client base.
Requirements
  • Experience in the securities industry, with a strong understanding of Canadian Securities Course (CSC), Conduct Practices Handbook (CPH), and Wealth Management Essentials (WME) course.
  • Registered as a Registered Representative (RR) with CIRO.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on client service and relationship-building.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced Excel skills.
