About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team at Dreamland Finishing Carpentry Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in all aspects of carpentry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Blueprint Reading and Interpretation

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements and ensure that all projects are completed to the highest standard.

  • Layout and Measurement

Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools to ensure accuracy and precision.

  • Material Selection and Preparation

Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to create high-quality carpentry products.

  • Installation and Finishing

Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to ensure a seamless and professional finish.

  • Team Leadership and Supervision

Supervise and lead other workers to ensure that all projects are completed on time and to the highest standard.

  • Cost Estimation and Management

Estimate costs and materials required for each project to ensure that all budgets are met and exceeded.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the carpentry trade.

  • Language and Work Environment

Fluency in English and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
