Speech Language Pathologist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Fraser Health Authority. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services to clients with hearing, communication, and related disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and diagnoses to identify communication disorders and develop treatment plans.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients, including children and adults, to improve communication skills.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in speech-language pathology to provide evidence-based care.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC.
  • Eligibility for membership in the Canadian and/or BC Association of Speech/Language Pathology and Audiology (CASLPA and/or BCSLPA).
  • Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle for work-related purposes.
