Position Overview

Your exceptional computer skills enable you to enhance and streamline software solutions effectively. Our team of over 2,500 employees relies on various SAP services and processes daily, and you possess the expertise to implement solutions and address critical issues while keeping the needs of the people you impact in mind.

If you believe this role aligns with your skills, we invite you to consider the position of SAP Analyst within our Information Systems (IS) department. You will provide support for all SAP-related systems and processes utilized by our Human Resources unit.
Your experience in collaborating with team members and other business units has made you adept at balancing legal, regulatory, and business requirements while planning process enhancements. Your ability to oversee projects from inception to completion and engage stakeholders throughout the process distinguishes you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) to align with legal, regulatory, and business requirements while participating in workflow enhancement projects.
  • Analyze and evaluate business requests, determining feasible implementation options.
  • Conduct analytics, compile reports, and recommend improvements to systems or business processes.

In your first year, you will:

  • Address time and payroll issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to prioritize and implement system modifications following our change management process.
  • Become familiar with troubleshooting and resolving help desk incidents assigned to the team.

In your second year, you will:

  • Broaden your support scope to additional areas of HCM.
  • Propose and implement solutions that leverage existing technologies while considering IS strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of SAP HCM, particularly in Time Management and Payroll, along with experience integrating SAP modules with other systems.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, coupled with 3-5 years of relevant SAP HCM experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong judgment and creative problem-solving skills in decision-making scenarios.
  • A proven ability to redesign business processes while maintaining system integrity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging stakeholders, drafting reports, and presenting findings.

This role offers the option to participate in a flexible work program, allowing you to work from an approved location in British Columbia for up to 85 days a year, subject to business needs.
