Ornge is a leading organization in the healthcare industry, dedicated to connecting communities and promoting equity in healthcare services. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Project Management Office (PMO) Coordinator.

In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting project management and risk management activities across the organization. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, ensuring the smooth operation and effectiveness of our PMO.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the PMO website, including training, updates, and maintenance to ensure it remains a valuable resource for project managers and stakeholders.
  • Implement process improvements and automation for project status updates, streamlining communication and enhancing efficiency.
  • Create and analyze reports on project health and status, providing insightful data to inform decision-making and track progress.
  • Provide centralized support to project managers on key initiatives, acting as a point of contact and resource for guidance and assistance.
  • Maintain project artifacts, PMO processes, and best practices, ensuring consistency and adherence to established standards.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to project management, contributing to the overall organization and effectiveness of the PMO.
  • Support stakeholder meetings and collaborate with business partners, fostering strong relationships and facilitating effective communication.
  • Coordinate meetings with Risk and Business Continuity Planning owners, ensuring alignment and collaboration across departments.
  • Prepare reports for internal and external executive teams, communicating project status and key findings in a clear and concise manner.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of project coordination experience, demonstrating a proven track record of success in supporting project management activities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management or a related field, providing a strong foundation in project management principles and methodologies.
  • Project Management certification (PM or PMP), showcasing your commitment to professional development and expertise in the field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, demonstrating your technical skills and ability to utilize relevant software applications.
  • Familiarity with risk management and Business Continuity principles, contributing to the organization's overall resilience and preparedness.
