Job Title: Highway Snow Removal Equipment Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Highway Snow Removal Equipment Operator to join our team at Emcon Services Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various snow removal equipment, including snowplows, salt trucks, and sanding trucks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment operation and maintenance, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain snow removal equipment, including snowplows, salt trucks, and sanding trucks
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Check and report any malfunctions or issues with equipment to supervisor
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and efficiency
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in heavy equipment operation and maintenance
  • AZ class license and Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks) and Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a cold, noisy, and physically demanding environment
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and efficiency. The work will involve operating and maintaining snow removal equipment in a variety of weather conditions, including cold, wet, and snowy conditions.
