Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Procedure Preparation
    • Prepare patients for dental examinations by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring they are comfortable and relaxed.
    • Prepare plaster models and moulds for dental restorations and prosthetics.
  • Dental Instrumentation and Materials
    • Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and filling materials according to established protocols.
  • Intra-Oral Duties
    • Assist dentists during procedures, including taking and developing X-rays.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a dental setting.
