Job Summary

B.N. Dulay's Trux Ltd. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Long Haul to join our team. As a key member of our transportation department, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, oversee all aspects of vehicle condition, and perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
  • Cargo Handling: Load and unload goods, ensure safety and security of cargo, and transport and handle dangerous goods as required.
  • Logistics: Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations as necessary.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Certifications: Driver's License (Class 1 or A) and a clean driving record are essential.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
