Job Title: Truck Driver - Long Haul

B.N. Dulay's Trux Ltd. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Long Haul to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across long distances.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Logistics: Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Safety and Security: Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo, as well as transporting and handling dangerous goods.
  • Administrative: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements:
  • Certifications: Driver's License (Class 1 or A), Criminal record check, Driving record check (abstract), and Drug test.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Work Environment: On the road job, 45 to 60 hours per week.
