Bakery Team Member

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Team Member to join our team at Matsqui Cafe. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Bakery Operations: Bake mixed dough and batters, and ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
- Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and train staff in general bakery operations.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
