About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team at LUZ CONSTRUCTION INC. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to create strong and durable structures.
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to ensure a seamless finish.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads and working at heights, while maintaining a high level of physical fitness.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals, demonstrating a strong sense of teamwork and reliability.
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
  • Excellent physical fitness, with the ability to handle heavy loads and work at heights.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
