Job Title: Senior Civil/Water Resources Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil/Water Resources Engineer to join our team at SLR Consulting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of civil and water resources projects, including site servicing, grading, hydrotechnical design, and stormwater management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and analysis of hydrotechnical engineering projects, including stormwater management systems and stream restoration.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Prepare and review engineering design documents, including reports, drawings, and specifications.
  • Collaborate with other SLR disciplines to deliver comprehensive solutions.
  • Manage projects and proposals to ensure successful delivery and client satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • 15+ years of experience in Civil and/or Water Resources engineering consulting.
  • Professional status or eligibility for professional status, preferably in ON, AB, BC, or other Canadian jurisdictions.
  • Engineering design experience, including site grading and servicing design, erosion and sediment control, and hydrotechnical design of stormwater management infrastructure.
  • Project management, client liaison, and business development experience.
