Job Description

As a Senior Civil Engineer at Integrated Sustainability, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality and sustainable solutions to our clients. Your expertise in civil engineering, project management, and leadership will enable you to make a significant impact on our organization and inspire innovative solutions in the field of water management.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee various technical civil, geotechnical, and environmental engineering tasks, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Develop and implement complex engineering and field programs, focusing on civil and geotechnical engineering designs.
  • Review and authenticate engineering reports, including design basis memorandums, geotechnical reports, and construction completion reports.
  • Supervise the development of and authenticate dam safety-related studies and reports.
  • Perform site visits and inspections, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement multi-disciplinary project strategies, working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Support the development of cost estimates and schedules for project deliverables.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with specialization in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology.
  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in industry or consulting, with a strong track record of delivering complex projects.
  • Registration with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
  • Experience with storm and sanitary sewer design, stormwater management design and modeling.
  • Experience with civil earthworks designs related to stormwater reservoirs, earthen structures, small and large earthen dams, surface water management, roadways, underground piping, and site grading.
  • Excellent English communication skills, with experience in preparing and reviewing technical reports.
  • Proven leadership, business development, and client communication skills.
