We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Manager - Supplier Quality to join our team at MHI Canada Aerospace Inc. This is a key leadership position that will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our aerospace structures and assemblies.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the Quality team to ensure compliance with AS 9100 and other relevant quality standards.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures for quality control, inspection, and testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve complex quality issues.
- Conduct audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance quality awareness and skills.
- Coach and develop quality team members to achieve their full potential.
- Manage and maintain quality records and documentation.
- Develop and implement corrective action plans to address quality issues.
- 8-10 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in the aerospace industry.
- Strong knowledge of AS 9100 and other relevant quality standards.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret technical data and drawings.
