Hotel Front Desk Clerk Job Description

Hollander Motor Hotel is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms
  • Take, cancel and change room reservations
  • Provide information on hotel facilities and services
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
  • Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations and room assignments
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
