About Our Company

Colas Canada, a leading provider of construction and maintenance services, is seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our Paving Crew. As a subsidiary of The Miller Group, we have a long history of delivering exceptional results in the transportation infrastructure sector.

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and physically fit individual to assist our experienced crew in laying down and smoothing out asphalt surfaces. The successful candidate will be responsible for hauling materials, operating power tools, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of construction sites
  • Operate heavy equipment and power tools, such as rollers and shovels
  • Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to protocols and wearing personal protective equipment
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
  • Participate in traffic control and set/take down of construction zones
Requirements
  • Valid G/G2 driver's license and clean driving abstract
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Mechanically inclined and previous construction experience an asset
