About Our Client

Our client is a dynamic construction company specializing in innovative residential low to mid-rise buildings. They are seeking a skilled Assistant Project Manager with a strong background in the construction industry.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Management team in planning and coordinating project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation for low to mid-rise residential building projects.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure effective communication and timely achievement of milestones.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documents, including contracts and progress reports.
  • Track project budgets and timelines to identify and address potential risks, ensuring successful and profitable project delivery.
  • Support the implementation of quality control measures to ensure that construction meets all required standards and specifications.
  • Assist in securing necessary permits and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Support the project closeout process, including final inspections, punch lists, and client turnover.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction industry, ideally in an assistant project management or project coordination role.
  • Educational background in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Knowledge of relevant construction laws and building codes, with a basic understanding of budget management, schedule management, and construction quality control processes.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Skilled in managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively.
