Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our National Rehabilitation Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing goal-oriented vocational rehabilitation plans for our clients. Your tasks will include visits, coordination with stakeholders and vendors, budget management, and planning return to work programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing vocational rehabilitation strategies to support clients in returning to work
  • Assisting in the transition process for clients who are ill or injured
  • Creative return to work solutions to meet individual client needs
  • Budget management and financial planning for rehabilitation programs
  • Effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams
  • Providing support and guidance to clients throughout the rehabilitation process

Requirements

  • Related university degree in a field such as rehabilitation, social work, or a related field
  • Experience in vocational rehabilitation or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of rehabilitation best practices and industry standards
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict management skills
  • Detail-oriented and organized with strong problem-solving skills

Salary and Benefits

Annual base salary: $48,075.00 CAD - $80,125.00 CAD

In addition to salary, employees can participate in incentive programs tied to performance. Company 1 - The Manufacturers Life Insurance Company offers a range of customizable benefits, including health, dental, and retirement savings plans.
