Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at OM SARNIA INC. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and safe dining environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, portion and wrap foods, and serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units, and wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders, and provide excellent customer service.
Work Environment

As a Food Counter Attendant, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of physical activity. You will be required to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work under pressure.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
