About the Role
As a Contracting Specialist at IA Financial Group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective administration of agents' contracts. Reporting to the Manager, Distributor Networks, you will contribute to the company's objectives by providing timely and accurate contract management services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide front-line response to all Agency Services contracts and related questions from internal and external customers, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
- Analyze and process new applications for agent's contracts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Process and set up FundServ Dealer and representative codes, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Recommend contract, license, and E & O applications to Manager for approval, evaluating information for completeness and accuracy.
- Follow up with agencies, regulatory bodies, and regional directors to ensure agent contracting and payment processes are completed efficiently.
- Enter and update contracting and licensing information on the mainframe system FASAT and FAST, maintaining accuracy and precision.
- Update and maintain Contracting tracking spreadsheet, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Check provincial regulators' websites for status of licenses, staying up-to-date on regulatory requirements.
- Image documents and mail contracts, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Perform data entry and run credit checks, maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
Requirements
- 2 years of office experience in a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with English- and French-speaking customers.
- Strong data entry skills and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Good organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Intermediate level of English and French, with the ability to communicate daily with customers.
