Your Opportunity:
A challenging and rewarding leadership role exists at the Leduc Community Hospital for the position of Manager - Emergency Department, IV Therapy, and Respiratory. Reporting to the Site Director, the Manager is a key leadership position responsible for direction, team leadership, and organization over the activities of the Departments while supporting the vision, mission, and business plan of Alberta Health Services.
Key Responsibilities:
The Manager will be accountable for:
- Providing strategic direction and leadership to the Emergency Department, IV Therapy, and Respiratory teams
- Developing and implementing plans to improve patient care and outcomes
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless patient flow and care
- Managing budgets and resources to optimize departmental performance
- Recruiting, developing, and retaining a high-performing team
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Experience in a healthcare leadership role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Connect Care experience is an asset
