Your Opportunity:

A challenging and rewarding leadership role exists at the Leduc Community Hospital for the position of Manager - Emergency Department, IV Therapy, and Respiratory. Reporting to the Site Director, the Manager is a key leadership position responsible for direction, team leadership, and organization over the activities of the Departments while supporting the vision, mission, and business plan of Alberta Health Services.

Key Responsibilities:

The Manager will be accountable for:

  • Providing strategic direction and leadership to the Emergency Department, IV Therapy, and Respiratory teams
  • Developing and implementing plans to improve patient care and outcomes
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless patient flow and care
  • Managing budgets and resources to optimize departmental performance
  • Recruiting, developing, and retaining a high-performing team

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Experience in a healthcare leadership role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
